Would you like to host an Equine Reiki course at your property?

Have you been wanting to attend an Equine Reiki course but had trouble scheduling it for one reason or another?

We are always on the lookout for new venues to host our four day Equine Reiki courses, which might provide a perfect solution for you, if you have property with horses and you are interested in hosting a course. Ideally, this is what we are looking for in a host venue:

Facilities
  • A quiet area indoors or undercover (this can be a veranda or barn, depending on the time of year and weather conditions) that will enable four to six students to be seated comfortably for theory sessions during the course. This area will also need to be spacious enough for us to have two or three massage tables set up for hands on healing practises
  • The area needs to have cooling during warmer months or heating during cooler months for student comfort
  • Access to kitchen and bathroom facilities throughout the course
  • Due to the nature of the course, it is envisaged that we will not be disturbed during class times, or when working with horses.

Horses
  • Horses are needed on the last two days of the course only, for a morning and afternoon session with students on both days.
  • We need as many horses as there are students to enable each person to work one on one with the horses during practicals.
  • The horses need to be reasonably quiet and well handled, with the ability to tie up during course practicals.
  • The horses need to be in reasonable condition.
  • When working with horses we need an undercover area that is spacious enough for all the students to work with the horses. This area can be a breezeway, stables, open style barn, large open undercover looseboxes, or small yards.

Accommodation
  • Ideally your property should be close to nearby accommodation for out of town students, unless there are facilities to accommodate students at your property.
  • Close proximity to an airport or train station is beneficial.

Course times
  • Courses are generally run Monday to Thursday but we can be flexible on days.
  • We start at 9am and finish at approximately 4pm each day with course wrap after class finishes on the last day.

Course numbers
  • A minimum of four participants is required to run a course with a maximum of six. We find it best if the host is a course participant, as it seems to provide smoother running of the course.
